Sysmex Selected as One of the Global 100’s Most Sustainable Companies in the World for the Fourth Time
Sysmex Corporation (HQ: Kobe, Japan; Chairman and CEO: Hisashi Ietsugu) announced today that, it has been selected as one of the 2021 Global 100’s Most Sustainable Companies in the World, a ranking conducted by Canadian publisher Corporate Knights. This is the fourth time that Sysmex has been ranked among the top 100.
The Global 100 is a list of the world’s 100 most sustainable companies. The top 100 are selected from among leading companies across the globe (approximately 8,000 in 2021). Corporate Knights selects these companies on the basis of corporate value characteristics, including corporate governance, and social and environmental aspects.
This year’s Global 100 was announced during the usual “Davos Week,” when the World Economic Forum Annual Meeting is held (in 2021, January 25-29). Sysmex ranked 32nd overall, and first in the Health Care Equipment sector.
Sysmex will continue to forge ahead with its ESG initiatives and strive to achieve the sustainable development of its business and society as a whole by contributing to the SDGs.
